Baskets-n-Beyond, a specialty gift basket company located at 39 West Madison Avenue in Dumont, New Jersey, has partnered with Tavern on the Green Specialty Foods in an effort to support the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and its mission to help missing, sexually exploited, and sexually abused children.
Tavern on the Green Specialty Foods is a philanthropic company that sells gourmet specialty food products, such as sauces, marinades, and dipping oils, to benefit the NCMEC, as noted on each product’s label.
Did you know that 2100 kids go missing every single day? And the latest statistics (2005) revealed that a staggering 4 million of the 25 million children between the ages of 11 and 17 have been solicited for sex via the Internet.
Michele A. Petrillo, owner of Baskets-n-Beyond, has created a collection of special gift baskets that include Tavern on the Green products especially for this purpose. “We’re asking everyone to think about helping missing and abused children during the upcoming gift-giving season,” explains Petrillo. “The next time you have an occasion to give a gift (personal or corporate), please consider our gourmet baskets, knowing that Basket and Beyond supports the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children to help the NCMEC bring missing children home, prevent the sexual exploitation of our nation’s youth, and to hold sex offenders accountable for their crimes against children.”
If you would like to help Baskets-n-Beyond in its efforts to help save America’s children, please call Michele Petrillo at 201-384-7575 or online at www.baskets-n-beyond.com
Petrillo is the event coordinator for the BNI-Leading Edge Chapter, treasurer for the Linwood Park Board of Directors, a past president of the Dumont Chamber of Commerce, and a past board member of the Asbury Park Marketing Fund.
Baskets-n-Beyond has been specializing in custom-made gift baskets for any occasion since 1993. The company’s mission is to create gift baskets that will always stand out from the rest. Because each individually ordered basket is custom made, special items can be added to the basket at the customer’s request. Baskets-n-Beyond also creates specially designed gift baskets for corporate accounts. Three-quarters of the company’s annual business comes from referrals; there is no sales team. Every customer either received a basket or was referred by a satisfied customer.
